Even with today's modern technology, there are still situations in which images can be too large for certain operations, like uploading them to certain services. If you don't want to waste time playing around with a picture's size, you can use Image Resizer to simplify your work. This application is capable of reducing the size of one or more images, without keeping you occupied with too many options and menus. Its clean design and straightforward functionality make it accessible even to novice users.

Image Resizer is offered free of charge, without any hidden fees or restrictions. It can be used on all popular Windows platforms, without having to meet any special requirements. The software comes as a single executable, which you can extract directly from a ZIP archive.

Resizing images is a three-step process, through which the software will guide you with simple instructions. You basically have to import your pictures, set a new size and choose where to store the resized files. You can decide to save them in the same location as the originals or in a new folder, with a certain naming pattern.

The second step of the operation is obviously the most important one. Besides picking one of four preset sizes, you can choose between other resizing methods as well. The software lets you manually specify a size in pixels, but you can also set it to scale the images by a certain percentage, by a factor or ratio or to simply shrink the file size to a size of your choice. Additionally, you can bring up a few extra options, on a separate window, if you wish to adjust the output quality and other characteristics.

Speed and efficiency is exactly what you can expect from Image Resizer, when it comes to making your pictures smaller.

Pros

You can resize multiple images in one run. The software places several resizing methods at your disposal. It works fast and its controls are quite easy to master.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to complain about.
